Preliminary Procedures Place drain pans under the vehicle. Remove as much power steering fluid from the upper power steering fluid reservoir as possible.
1	Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Hose CAUTION: Refer to Installing Hoses without Twists or Bends Caution . Procedure Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the power steering fluid reservoir hose from the upper power steering fluid reservoir. Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the power steering fluid reservoir hose from the lower power steering fluid reservoir which is part of the power steering pump. After the installation is complete, fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding . Clean any excess power steering fluid from the vehicle. Remove the drain pans.

Procedure

Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the power steering fluid reservoir hose from the upper power steering fluid reservoir.
Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the power steering fluid reservoir hose from the lower power steering fluid reservoir which is part of the power steering pump.
After the installation is complete, fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
Clean any excess power steering fluid from the vehicle.
Remove the drain pans.
