Circuit/System Verification
- Ignition ON.
- Verify the object alarm sounds 1 short tone when shifting the transmission into reverse.
- If the object alarm sounds 1 or 2 tones repeated
Refer to Circuit/System Testing below - Rear Object Sensor Malfunction.
- If the object alarm sounds 3 tones continuously or no tones
Refer to Circuit/System Testing below - Rear Parking Assist Control Module/Speaker Malfunction
- If the object alarm sounds 1 short tone
- If the object alarm sounds 1 or 2 tones repeated
- All OK.
