Installation Procedure

  1. Install the fuel tank heat shield (3).
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the 3 fuel tank heat shield retaining screw bolt (2) and tighten to 6 (53 lb in).
  3. Install the fuel tank strap (1) retaining bolt and tighten to 20 (15 lb ft).
  4. Install the front exhaust muffler assembly. Refer to Exhaust Muffler Replacement - Front .
