Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .

  4. Remove the lower control arm ball joint to steering knuckle retaining bolt (1) and separate the ball joint from the steering knuckle.

  6. Remove the front lower control arm to cradle bolts (1) and the front lower control bushing brackets (2).

  8. Remove the rear lower control arm to cradle bolts and nuts (1).

  10. Remove the lower control arm (1) from the cradle.
