Removal Procedure

- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
- Remove the lower control arm ball joint to steering knuckle retaining bolt (1) and separate the ball joint from the steering knuckle.
- Remove the front lower control arm to cradle bolts (1) and the front lower control bushing brackets (2).
- Remove the rear lower control arm to cradle bolts and nuts (1).
- Remove the lower control arm (1) from the cradle.
