Preliminary Procedures Remove the front intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement - Front . Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement , for the V6 engine or to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the V8 engine. Remove the accessory drive belt from the power steering pump pulley only. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement for 3.6L or DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT - ACCESSORY for all except 3.6L.
1	Power Steering Pump Pulley Procedure Use the J25034C Pulley Remover in order to remove the pulley. Use the J25033C Pulley Installer in order to install the pulley. TIP: Ensure the axial tolerance of the pulley on the pump shaft is within 0.25mm (0.010in). Special Tools J25034C Pulley Remover J25033C Pulley Installer For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

Procedure

TIP: Ensure the axial tolerance of the pulley on the pump shaft is within 0.25mm (0.010in).
