Preliminary Procedures
- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
.
- Open the front compartment insulator service opening.

9 N.m (80 lb in) |

Crankshaft Position Sensor Procedure
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- After replacement of the crankshaft position sensor, use a scan tool to perform the appropriate reset function. Refer to K20 Engine Control Module: Programming and Setup (LUZ)
