Installation Procedure

  1. Install the radiator (1) into the lower radiator mounts.

  2. Install the two upper A/C condenser bolts (1). Refer to Air Conditioning Condenser Replacement .

  3. Install transmission fluid auxiliary cooler upper bracket bolts (1). Refer to Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Cooler Upper Bracket Replacement .

  4. Install the radiator upper mounts (2). Refer to Radiator Upper Mount Replacement .

  5. Install the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler inlet rear pipe (1) to the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Cooler Inlet Rear Pipe Replacement .

  6. Install the transmission fluid cooler inlet pipe (1) to the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet Pipe Replacement .

  7. Install the radiator outlet hose (2) to the radiator outlet pipe. Refer to Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement .

  8. Install the engine coolant fan shroud (1) to the radiator. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Replacement .

  9. Install the radiator inlet hose (2) to the radiator. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement .

  10. Install the engine coolant recovery reservoir hose (1) to the radiator. Refer to Coolant Recovery Reservoir Hose Replacement .

  11. Install the engine coolant air bleed hose (2) to the radiator. Refer to Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose Replacement .
  12. Raise and support vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

    NOTE:

    Only install the right side A/C condenser bolt. The left side bolt will be installed with the transmission fluid cooler.

  13. Install the lower A/C condenser bolt (1). Refer to Air Conditioning Condenser Replacement .

  14. Install the transmission fluid cooler lower bolts (2). Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Replacement .

  15. Install the front bumper fascia extension (3). Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Extension Replacement .
  16. Lower the vehicle.
  17. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
    18. WARNING:

    Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning .

  18. Connect the battery ground cable to the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  19. Inspect cooling system for leaks.
