Installation Procedure
- Install the fuel injectors and fuel rails if it was removed. Refer to the following procedures:
- Install a NEW fuel pressure sensor. Refer to Fuel Pressure Sensor Replacement - Fuel Injection Fuel Rail .
- Install the a NEW high pressure fuel pump. Refer to Fuel Pump Replacement .
- Install a NEW fuel feed intermediate pipe. Refer to Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe Replacement .
- Install a NEW fuel feed pipe. Refer to Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement .
- Install the fuel feed pipe (2) to the fuel feed line.
- Install the fuel pipe shield. Refer to Fuel Pipe Shield Replacement
- Install the intake manifold sight shield. Refer to Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement .
- Install the primary fuel tank module assembly. Refer to Primary Fuel Tank Module Replacement .
- Install the secondary fuel tank module assembly. Refer to Secondary Fuel Tank Module Replacement .
- Install the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .
- Lower the vehicle.
- Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Primary Battery)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Auxiliary Battery) .
