Component Testing

Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the rear compartment lid release actuator.
Test for infinite resistance between the signal terminal 2 and the ground terminal 3 with the switch in the open position.
- If less than infinite resistance
  Replace the rear compartment lid release actuator.
- If infinite resistance
Test for less than 3 Ω between the signal terminal 2 and the ground terminal 3 with the switch in the closed position.
- If 3 Ω or greater
  Replace the rear compartment lid release actuator.
- If less than 3 Ω
All OK
