Removal Procedure

  1. Before replacing unit, perform necessary programming and setup procedures. Refer to Control Module References
    NOTE:

    Before removing the unit from the vehicle, ensure that all SD Cards, CD's and personal media have been removed from the unit. Transfer any SD Cards, CD's or personal media to the new unit after installation.

    NOTE:

    After the ignition switch is turned OFF, the control unit continues operating for approximately 30 seconds. Therefore, data corruption may occur if battery voltage is cut off within 30 seconds.

  2. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection - Disconnect
  3. Instrument Panel Trim Panel Replacement - Center - Remove

  4. Screw (1) - Remove [4x]
  5. Radio/Navigation Unit (2) - Remove
  6. Electrical Connector - Disconnect

  8. Bracket (2) - Remove
