Removal Procedure: Notes

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling 
  2. Drive Belt Replacement » Remove
  3. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement » Remove
  4. Rear Intake Air Duct Replacement » Remove
  5. Radiator Outlet Hose @ Engine Coolant Thermostat» Remove - Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement 
  6. Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose @ Turbocharger» Remove - Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose Replacement
  7. Turbocharger Oil Feed Pipe Replacement » Remove
  8. Thermostat Bypass Pipe Replacement » Remove
  9. {If equipped} Disconnect the electrical connector. (2)

  10. Wiring Harness Clip (1) Unclip [2x]
  11. Water Pump Bolt (1, 2)» Remove [4x]

    NOTE: Take note that there are different bolt lengths.
  12. Remove the water pump. (3)
  13. Remove and DISCARD the gasket. (4)
