Removal Procedure

WARNING: Gasoline/Gasoline Vapors Warning
WARNING: Safety Goggles and Fuel Warning
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  2. Relieve the fuel pressure: Fuel Pressure Relief 
  3. Lower the fuel tank, to get enough space to remove the fuel pressure sensor - fuel feed pipe. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .
  4. Disconnect the fuel tank fuel feed pipe (4) from the fuel tank fuel pump module (1). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  5. Close all connections with EN-6015  plugs.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector. (2)
  7. Unclip the fuel tank fuel feed pipe (4) from the fuel tank bracket (5) and the fuel pressure sensor clip (3).
    NOTE: The fuel pressure sensor can not be replaced individually.
