Installation Procedure

    WARNING:

    Refer to Safety Glasses Warning .

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Installing Hoses without Twists or Bends Caution .

  1. Install the radiator inlet hose (2) to the engine oil cooler pipe.
  2. Reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp (1) on the radiator inlet hose (2) using BO-38185  hose clamp pliers.

  3. Install the radiator inlet hose (2) to the water pump.
  4. Reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp (1) on the radiator inlet hose (2) using BO-38185  hose clamp pliers.

  5. Install the radiator inlet hose (2) to the radiator.
  6. Reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp (1) on the radiator inlet hose (2) using BO-38185  hose clamp pliers.
  7. Install the mass air flow meter. Refer to Mass Airflow Sensor with Intake Air Temperature Sensor Replacement .
  8. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
  9. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
  10. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  11. Inspect cooling system for leaks.
