Installation Procedure

  1. Install the battery (1) into the battery tray.
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the battery bracket (3) and tighten the battery bracket bolt (2) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  3. Install the battery positive cable (2) to the battery and tighten the battery positive cable junction block post nut (1) to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  4. Install the battery positive cable junction block cover (1).
  5. Connect battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
