Preliminary Procedures Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement . Remove the liftgate lock cylinder rod.
1	Liftgate Lock Cylinder Nut (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 5 N.m (44 lb in)
2	Liftgate Lock Cylinder Assembly TIP: If you are installing a new lock cylinder, refer to Key and Lock Cylinder Coding .

Remove the liftgate lock cylinder rod.

Liftgate Lock Cylinder Nut (Qty: 2)

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
5 N.m (44 lb in)
