Installation Procedure

  1. Install the battery negative cable (1) onto the battery current sensor (2) as shown.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the battery negative cable to the frame rail and tighten the battery negative and positive cable ground nut (3) to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
  3. Connect the body harness connector (1) to the battery current sensor (2).

  4. Install the battery negative cable (4).
  5. Install the battery negative cable nut (2) and tighten the nut to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
  6. Install the body wiring harness cable (3).
  7. Install the body wiring harness cable nut (1) and tighten the nut to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
  8. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .
