Front Lower Control Arm Bushing Replacement

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the front tire and wheel assemblies. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the lower control arm. Refer to Lower Control Arm Replacement .
1 Lower Control Arm Rear Bushing Nut
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

TIP:  Note the position of the bushing during removal.
Tighten 
110 N.m + 53° (81 lb ft + 53°)
2 Washer
3 Lower Control Arm Rear Bushing
Procedure 
Hold the rear bushing when tightening the rear bushing bolt.
