Removal Procedure

WARNING:

Refer to Exhaust Service Warning

  1. Disconnect Battery Negative Cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  2. Remove Intake Manifold Cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
  3. Remove Three-Way Catalytic Converter. Refer to Three-Way Catalytic Converter Replacement
    4. Fig 1: EGR Cooler Temperature Sensor, EGR Cooler, Wiring Harness Clip And Electrical Connector

  4. Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
  5. Unclip Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Temperature Sensor (2) @ Wiring Harness Clip (4) (Qty: 2)
  6. Remove Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Temperature Sensor (2) @ Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler (3)
