Installation Procedure

  1. Install Battery (1)

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install Battery Retainer Assembly (2)
  3. Install Battery Retainer Assembly Bolt (1) and tighten 8 N.m (71 lb in)

  4. Install Battery Tray Support (2)
  5. Install Battery Tray Support Nut (1) and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  6. Install Battery Positive Cable (3) @ Battery Post
  7. Install Battery Positive Cable Clamp Fastener and tighten 5 N.m (44 lb in)
  8. Install Battery Positive Cable Protective Cover (1)
  9. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
