Circuit/System Verification
- Ignition ON, command the IPC Display Test ON and OFF with a scan tool. The stabilitrak indicator should turn ON and OFF when changing between the commanded states.
- If the stabilitrak indicator does not turn ON and OFF, replace the IPC.
- Observe the scan tool Traction Control Switch parameter while pressing the traction control switch. The reading should change between Inactive and Active.
- If the reading does not change between the specified values, refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- If all functions test normal, there are no DTCs set, and the traction control system is inoperative, replace the EBCM.
