Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition/Vehicle - Off
  2. Remove the component:Q6 Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve
  3. Verify the condition does not exist:
    1. Torn, restricted, mis-positioned, or missing screens.
    2. Engine oil leak between the oil sealing lands of the solenoid. Inspect the lands of the solenoid for nicks.
    3. Oil seepage at the solenoid connector.
    • If a condition exists 

      Replace the component:Q6 Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve

    • Go to next step: If no condition exists 
  4. Test or replace the component:Q6 Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve
