Installation Procedure

  1. Push down the 3 electrical connectors (2) before installation of the front compartment fuse block (1).

  2. Lock the retaining tabs (2, 3).
  3. Install the front compartment fuse block (1).

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  4. Install 3 front compartment fuse block bolts (1) and tighten to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
  5. Install the front compartment fuse block cover (1).

  6. Install the generator and starter cable nut (2) and tighten to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
  7. Install the headlamp wiring harness nut (5) and tighten to 4.7 N.m (42 lb in).
  8. Install the power steering wiring harness nut (4) and tighten to 4.7 N.m (42 lb in).
  9. Install the battery positive cable bolt (3) tighten to 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
  10. Install the front compartment fuse block wiring harness supply cover (1).
  11. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
