Removal Procedure

  1. Park the vehicle on a level surface. - Ensure the steering wheel and the front wheels are in the straight ahead position.
  2. Disconnect Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  3. Remove Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement
  4. Remove Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement
  5. Remove the windshield with BO-51843  cutting tool. For further information, refer to BO-51843 Cutting Tool Description and Operation
  6. Fit and lock BO-641  holder to windshield.
  7. NOTE:

    A second technician is required.

  8. Remove Windshield

  10. Cut out the adhesive tape with a knife (1) to within 1 mm (0.039 in).
  11. Repair any paint damage.

    Using a touch-up pen to match the color of the vehicle, repair any paint damage.

  12. Cut off the adhesive bead on the glass pane

    Cut out the adhesive tape with the knife (1) to within 1 mm (0.039 in).
