Installation Procedure

Install Nitrogen Oxides Sensor and tighten 50 N.m. (37 lb ft)

NOTE:
If reinstalling the old sensor, coat the threads with anti-sieze compound. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
Install Nitrogen Oxides Sensor Cable @ Nitrogen Oxides Sensor Cable Clip

Install Nitrogen Oxides Sensor Bolt [2x] and tighten 10.5 N.m. (93 lb in)
CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Connect Electrical Connector @ Nitrogen Oxides Sensor
Lower the vehicle.
If replacing, perform the NOx sensor 2 reset. Refer to NOx Sensor 2 Reset
If replacing, perform the NOx catalyst reductant loading reset. Refer to NOx Catalyst Reductant Loading Reset
Perform the diesel particulate filter (DPF) regeneration enable. Refer to Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Regeneration Enable
