Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection 
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
  3. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement
  4. Without removing the splash shield, remove the drive belt, from the generator pulley. Drive Belt Replacement
  5. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

  6. Remove Protective Cap (1)
  7. Remove Generator Nut (2)
  8. Remove Battery Positive Cable (3)
  9. Disconnect the electrical connector.(4)

  10. Remove Generator Bolt (2)
