This PI was superseded to update Model Years. Please discard PIC6169D.

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

CONDITION/CONCERN

A customer may comment on one or more of the following.

SES light on dim when the vehicle is running
SES light on dim when the vehicle is put into gear
SES light on dim when locking or unlocking the doors
Service Front View Camera Module Message on in the DIC
Rear View Camera display issues
Radio display blanking out at times (IO5, IO6 radios)
Other various electrical concerns
Service Transmission Message on in the DIC
Service Stabilitrak Message on in the DIC

When checking the vehicle for codes, DTCs may or may not be found.

NOTE:

All DTCs, including U-type DTCs, need to be addressed prior to diagnosing a P175F in the K71 Transmission Control Module, seeing mostly in vehicle's equipped with the AF50 transmission assembly, but not limited to. DTC P175F usually sets as a default when other DTCs are set in other modules.

RECOMMENDATION/INSTRUCTIONS

Inspect connectors X210 and X220 for bent terminals or connection issues.

Repair as required.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
