Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the front bumper fascia opening lower cover. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Opening Lower Cover Replacement .
  4. Detach the front wheel speed sensor harness clip (1) from the front compartment front inner side rail.

  5. Disconnect the front wheel speed sensor electrical connector (2) from the forward lamp wiring harness.
  6. Detach the front wheel speed sensor harness (3) from the body frame mounted bracket (1).

  7. Detach the front wheel speed sensor harness (3) from the front strut mounted bracket (2).
  8. Remove the front wheel speed sensor bolt (1).

  9. Remove the front wheel speed sensor (2) from the steering knuckle.
