Outside Rearview Mirror Glass
WARNING:
Approved safety glasses and gloves should be worn when performing this procedure to reduce the chance of personal injury.
Procedure
- Push the top outside of the mirror inward, insert a small flat-bladed driver at the bottom inside of mirror and pulling outward until the mirror releases from the motor/actuator.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Place your hand on the back of the mirror housing.
- Using the flat part of your hand press inward until the mirror fully seats on the retaining tabs.
- Inspect the door for proper operation before installing the door trim panel.
