Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting and Jacking Caution .
  2. Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the front bumper fascia opening lower cover. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Opening Lower Cover Replacement .
  4. Remove the front lower control arm ball joint to steering knuckle retaining bolt (1) and nut (2) and disconnect the lower control arm ball joint (3) from the steering knuckle

  5. Remove the front lower control arm to cradle front bolts (1) and front lower control bushing brackets (2).

  6. Remove the rear lower control arm to cradle rear bolts (1) and nuts (2).

  7. Remove the lower control arm (1) from the cradle.
