Installation Procedure

- Install the radiator assembly (1) to the vehicle.
- Install the radiator lower bracket (2) - right side.
- Install the radiator lower bracket bolts (1) - right side and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
- Install the radiator lower bracket (2) - left side.
- Install the radiator lower bracket bolts (1) - left side and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
- Install the condenser securing bolts (1) and tighten to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
- Install the condenser securing bolts (1) and tighten to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
- Install the engine coolant fan shroud (2). Refer to Cooling Fan and Shroud Replacement .
- Install the engine coolant fan shroud bolt (1) and tighten to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
- Connect the electrical connectors to the engine coolant fan shroud.
- Position the radiator inlet hose (2) and clip the radiator inlet hose clamp (1).
- Position the radiator outlet hose (2) and clip the radiator outlet hose clamp (1).
- Install the oxygen sensor connector bracket (2).
- Install the oxygen sensor connector bracket bolt (1) and tighten to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
- If the auto transmission is equipped, install the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Replacement .
- Position the surge tank and install the surge tank bolts. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Replacement .
- Install the radiator air lower baffle. Refer to Radiator Air Lower Baffle Replacement .
- Install the radiator air upper baffle. Refer to Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement .
- Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
- Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
