Installation Procedure

  1. Install the battery current sensor (2) onto the battery negative cable (1) as shown.

  2. Install the battery negative cable to the frame rail and tighten the battery negative and positive cable ground nut (3) to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Connect the body harness connector (1) to the battery current sensor (2).
  4. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .
