Removal Procedure

  1. Lower the sunroof module assembly. Refer to Sunroof Module Assembly Replacement 
  2. Remove the sunroof window motor. Refer to Sunroof Window Motor Replacement 
  3. Remove the sunroof housing drain gutter. Refer to Sunroof Housing Drain Gutter Replacement

  4. Remove the sunroof sunshade. Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Replacement

  5. Remove the rear drainage piece screw (1) and rear drainage piece (2).

  6. Remove the front cover guide screw (1) and front cover guide (2).

  7. Remove the locking slide buffer (1).

  8. Use the flat tip tool push the drive wedge (1) to backward.

  9. Remove the drive wedge (1) from locking slider (2) and the curve on panel assembly (3).

  10. Hold the middle of curve on panel assembly (1). Raise the rear side of curve on panel assembly and push the curve on panel assembly to the forward.

  11. Remove the curve on guide B (1). Push the rear side of curve on panel using flat tip tool.

  12. Remove the curve on guide A (1).

  13. Remove the locking slide (1).

  14. Remove the retraction bar (1) and drive cable (2) from the sunroof frame.
