Installation Procedure

  1. GM4311607
    NOTE:

    Install a NEW gasket.

    Exhaust Gasket (2) - Install [2x]

  2. Exhaust Front Pipe (1) - Install
  3. GM4311600
    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Exhaust Front Pipe Bracket Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  4. Exhaust Front Pipe Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  5. GM4311595

    Catalytic Converter Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  6. GM4311585

    Front Cradle Brace (2) - Install

  7. Front Cradle Brace Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 58 N.m (43 lb ft)
  8. Start the engine and check for exhaust leaks.
