Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  2. GM4280901

    Front Lower Control Arm Ball Stud Nut (1) - Loosen

  3. GM4280902

    Use the CH-42188-B  Ball Joint Separator (1) to separate the front lower control arm from the steering knuckle.

  4. Front Lower Control Arm Ball Stud Nut (2) - Remove

    Front Lower Control Arm Front Bolt (1) - Remove and DISCARD [2x]

  6. GM4280907

    Front Lower Control Arm Rear Nut (1) - Remove [2x]

  7. Front Lower Control Arm Rear Bolt (2) - Remove and DISCARD [2x]
  8. GM4734963

    Remove the front lower control arm (1) from the vehicle.
