Installation Procedure

    Battery(1) - Install

    Battery Hold Down Retainer(3) - Install

  3. Battery Hold Down Retainer(1) - Install
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Battery Hold Down Retainer Bolt (2) - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  5. GM4774820

    Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block(3) - Install

  6. Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut(1) - Tighten 4.5 N.m (40 lb in)
  7. Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Cover(2) - Install
  8. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9)
