Removal Procedure

NOTE:

It is not necessary to remove the instrument panel extension.

Use a plastic trim tool, only loosen the 2 front center retaining clips and lift up the front center of the instrument panel extension (1). Instrument Panel Extension Replacement

NOTE:
It is not necessary to remove heater and air conditioning user interface control.

NOTE:
Remove the heater and air conditioning user interface control with the radio control assembly as a unit.

Using a plastic trim tool, remove the instrument panel center air outlet bracket (1).
Disconnect the electrical connectors.
