Installation Procedure

While holding BO-51363 Door Handle Spring Retainer in place, install front side door outside handle (1) into door (2) at approximately a 90 degree angle to door.

Rotate front side door outside handle (1) rearward into front side door handle mechanism (2).

Slide front side door outside handle (1) forward to lock into position.

Release pressure on BO-51363 Door Handle Spring Retainer. Pull front side door outside handle (1) outward and remove BO-51363 Door Handle Spring Retainer from door (2).
Tighten the screw for the front side door lock cylinder opening cover. Refer to Front Side Door Lock Cylinder Opening Cover Replacement .
Connect the electrical connector at the door handle for the pass key entry (ATH).
Install the door water deflector.
Install the front side door armrest bracket. Refer to Front Side Door Armrest Bracket Replacement .
Ensure that the door lock system operates properly.
