Circuit/System Verification

Inspect for proper coolant level in the radiator surge tank.
- If coolant level is low
  Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling . Repair the cause of low coolant level.
- Go to next step: If coolant level is OK
Inspect for evidence that the engine cooling system also overheated.
- If the engine overheated
  Refer to Engine Overheating .
- Go to next step: If the engine did not also overheat
Inspect the hybrid/EV cooling system for leaks.
- If a leak is found
  Repair or replace the leaking component. Refer to the appropriate repair.
- Go to next step: If a leak is not found
Inspect the hybrid/EV cooling hoses for pinches or obstructions.
- If a concern is found
  Repair or replace hoses as necessary.
- Go to next step: If a concern is not found
Inspect the hybrid/EV electronics cooling system radiator for debris or obstruction.
- If a concern is found
  Repair or replace the restricted or damaged components as necessary.
- Go to next step: If a concern is not found
Inspect for proper operation of the hybrid/EV system coolant pump.
- If a concern is found
  Repair or replace the coolant pump as necessary.
- Go to next step: If a concern is not found
If the DTC sets: Replace - 14V Power Module
