Removal Procedure

  1. Rear Compartment Floor Stowage Trim Compartment Replacement - Remove
  2. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection  - Disconnect

    Remove the 3 panel trim nuts (1).

  4. Remove the panel trim (2).

    Release the retaining tabs. (1)[2x]

  6. Battery Fuse Block Cover(2) - Remove

    Remove the battery positive cable fuse block nut (2).

  8. Retainer(1) - Unclip[5x]
  9. Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement (Left Side) , or Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement (Right Side) - Remove

    Retainer(1) - Unclip[11x]

  11. Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement - Remove

    For a better access, fold the floor carpet (2) aside.

  14. Remove the battery positive cable (1) from the left channel.

    For a better access, fold the floor carpet aside.

  16. Retainer(1) - Unclip[3x]
  17. Dash Upper Extension Panel Opening Cover Replacement - Remove
  18. Windshield Wiper System Module Replacement - Remove
  19. Engine Wiring Harness Junction Block Replacement  - Remove

    Release the 2 retaining tabs to open the cover (1).

  21. Pull the battery positive cable (2) through the harness grommet into the passenger compartment.
  22. Separate the battery positive cable from the body harness.
  23. Remove the battery positive cable from the vehicle.
