Preliminary Procedure  Remove the rear compartment lid inner panel trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement .
1	Rear Compartment Lid Latch Inside Handle Pivot Procedure  Disconnect the rear compartment lid latch inside handle pivot from the inner rear compartment lid.
2	Rear Compartment Lid Latch Access Cover Procedure  Depress the retainers and slide the rear compartment lid latch access cover to the right to access the cable.
3	Rear Compartment Lid Latch Inside Handle Procedure  Disconnect the rear compartment lid inside handle cable from the latch.
