Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Without KL9) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (With KL9)
Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Cover (2) - Remove
- Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut (1) - Loosen
- Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block (3) - Reposition away
Battery Hold Down Bolt (1) - Remove [3X]
- Battery Hold Down Nut (2) - Remove
- Battery Hold Down Retainer (3) - Remove
- Disconnect the harness connector and any retainers attached to the battery cover.
Battery Cover (1) - Remove
Battery Hold Down Bolt (1) - Remove
- Battery Hold Down Retainer (2) - Remove
- Battery (3) - Remove
