Circuit/System Verification
- Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Apply the brake pedal.
- Verify the function: The stop lamps, also known as brake lamps, are activated when the driver applies the vehicle's brakes.
- If the function is NOT executed as expected
Refer to: Symptoms - Lighting
- Go to next step: If the function is executed as expected
- If the function is NOT executed as expected
- Verify DTC C0131 is not set.
- If DTC C0131 is set
- Calibrate the brake pressure modulator valve pressure sensor.
- Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets - Replace the component: K17 Electronic Brake Control Module & Q5 Brake Pressure Modulator
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- All OK.
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- All OK.
