Installation Procedure

    With the aid of an assistant, position the instrument carrier (1) in the vehicle.

  2. Reposition the instrument panel wiring harness into the vehicle position as was noted in the removal and connect the fasteners securing the instrument panel wiring harness to the instrument carrier.

    Slide the instrument panel assembly (1) forward.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

    Instrument Panel Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 3x ] 2.5 N.m(22 lb/in)

    Instrument Panel Airbag Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 3x ] 10 N.m(89 lb/in)

  6. Connect the instrument panel airbag electrical connector (2).

    Instrument Panel Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [ 3x ] 2.5 N.m(22 lb/in)

  8. Instrument Panel Compartment Center Upper Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 1x ] 10 N.m(89 lb/in)

    Instrument Panel Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 6x ] 2.5 N.m(22 lb/in)
