Removal Procedure
NOTE:
Record and then clear all Diagnostic Trouble Codes before performing any diagnostic procedures or mirror replacement.
- Clear all diagnostic trouble codes (DTC).
- Adjust the mirror to the full upward position.
Using a suitable flat bladed plastic trim tool, remove the inside rearview mirror applique (1).
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- NOTE:
Ensure to grasp the base of the inside rearview mirror. DO NOT rotate by using reflective glass.
Firmly grasp the base of the inside rearview mirror housing, and rotate the inside rearview mirror (1) 90 degrees counterclockwise.
