Installation Procedure
Position the steering linkage relay rod (1) on the vehicle.
Install the pitman arm (1) to the steering linkage relay rod.
- Install the steering linkage pitman arm nut (2) and tighten to 63 N.m (46 lb ft).
Install a NEW nut.
Install the left side steering linkage inner tie rod (1) to the steering linkage relay rod. Steering Linkage Inner Tie Rod Replacement
Install the steering linkage idler arm (2) to the steering linkage relay rod. Steering Linkage Idler Arm Replacement
- Install the right side steering linkage inner tie rod (1) to the steering linkage relay rod. Steering Linkage Inner Tie Rod Replacement
- Measure and adjust the front toe. Wheel Alignment - Steering Wheel Angle and/or Front Toe Adjustment

This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.
