Removal Procedure

  1. Apply the parking brake.

    Instrument Panel Steering Column Lower Trim Cover (2) - Remove - Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement 

  3. Automatic Transmission Shift Lock Control Actuator @ Transmission Control - Disconnect - Automatic Transmission Shift Lock Control Actuator Replacement

    Disconnect the park lock cable (2) from the ignition switch housing (1).

  5. Place the transmission control in the Neutral position.
  6. Shift Lever - Remove - Shift Lever Replacement

    Communication Interface Module Bracket (2) - Remove - Communication Interface Module Bracket Replacement

  8. Range Selector Lever Cable @ Transmission Control - Disconnect - Range Selector Lever Cable Replacement

    Steering Column Nut (1) - Remove [4x]

  10. Carefully lower the steering column.

    Transmission Control Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
