Installation Procedure

  1. Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Assembly - Install

    CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution

    Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

    Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Nut (1) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

    Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe Fitting (1) - Install and tighten 32 N.m (24 lb ft)

    Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Secondary Pipe Fitting (1) - Install and tighten 32 N.m (24 lb ft)

    Left Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Install and tighten 18 N.m (13 lb ft)

    Right Rear Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Install and tighten 18 N.m (13 lb ft)

    Left Rear Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Install and tighten 18 N.m (13 lb ft)

    Right Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Install and tighten 18 N.m (13 lb ft)

  11. Connect the EBCM electrical connector.
  12. Bleed the brake system. Antilock Brake System Automated Bleed 
  13. Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LTG) , or Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LFV) - Install
  14. Program the EBCM. Control Module References
  15. Center the steering angle sensor. Steering Wheel Angle Sensor Centering
