Installation Procedure
- Cut the quarter inner wheelhouse in the radius at the marked location (1).
- Prepare quarter inner wheelhouse sectioning per installation requirements.
- Prepare all joining surfaces for welding as necessary.
- Apply weld-thru coating or equivalent to all welding surfaces. Anti-Corrosion Treatment and Repair
- Install quarter inner wheelhouse sectioning (1) to vehicle using 3-dimensional measuring equipment and clamp into place.
- Install spot welds (1) along the entire quarter inner wheelhouse sectioning as needed.
- Install spot welds (1). [3x]
- Install quarter extension sectioning. Quarter Inner Panel Extension Replacement (SWB - Sectioning) Quarter Inner Panel Extension Replacement (SWB - Complete) Quarter Inner Panel Extension Replacement (LWB - Sectioning) Quarter Inner Panel Extension Replacement (LWB - Complete) .
- Install bodyside. Body Side Outer Panel Replacement (SWB) Body Side Outer Panel Replacement (LWB) , or Body Side Outer Panel Sectioning (SWB) Body Side Outer Panel Sectioning (LWB) .
- Apply the sealers and anti-corrosion materials to the repair area as necessary. Anti-Corrosion Treatment and Repair
- Paint the repaired area. Basecoat/Clearcoat Paint Systems .
- Install all related panels and components.
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (9C1, 5W4)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
- Enable the SIR System. SIR Disabling and Enabling .
NOTE:
The service part is supplied as a complete quarter inner and will need to be cut at the proper location for sectioning. The service part will overlap the original quarter inner by approximately 25 mm (1 in).

All cuts are square to surface.
