Installation Procedure

  1. Install the chassis rear wiring harness extension harness (1).

  2. Connect the 3 chassis rear wiring harness extension harness connectors (1).

  3. Position the master chassis harness (4) into place.

  4. {If equipped }Position the air suspension air line (3) into place.
  5. Wiring Harness Retainer (2) - Install [2x]
  6. {If equipped }Retainer (1) - Install [2x]
  7. Chassis Rear Wiring Harness Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

  11. Chassis Rear Wiring Harness Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    NOTE:

    It may be necessary to raise rear suspension to create clearance for full removal/install of upper bracket bolt.

  12. Electrical Connector (1) @Rear Parking Brake Actuator - Connect

  13. {If equipped }Electrical Connector (2) @Rear Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor - Connect
  14. Apply a light coat of wheel speed anti-corrosion grease to the rear wheel speed sensor (1) and mounting pad on the rear steering knuckle. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers

  15. Rear Wheel Speed Sensor (1) - Install
  16. Chassis Rear Wiring Harness Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

  17. Install the rear tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Steel Wheel) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Aluminum Wheel)
  18. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
  19. Verify the repair is complete. Diagnostic Repair Verification
