Removal Procedure

  1. Place a clean suitable drain pan under the windshield washer solvent container to recover the windshield washer solvent.

    Windshield Washer Solvent Container Filler Tube Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove

  3. While twisting, pull inboard on the windshield washer solvent container filler tube (2) to remove it from the windshield washer solvent container grommet.
  4. Remove the right front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

    NOTE:
    • Quantity of retainers may vary based on option content.
    • Components removed for graphic clarity.

    Engine Front Splash Shield Retainer (1) - Remove [2x]

  6. Engine Front Splash Shield Bolt (2) - Remove [5x]
  7. Engine Front Splash Shield(3) - Remove

    NOTE:

    Remove only the outer front tire front air deflector bolt. The front tire front air deflector will be removed with the front wheelhouse liner.

    Front Tire Front Air Deflector Bolt (1) - Remove

  9. Front Bumper Fascia Air Deflector Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]
  10. Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt(3) - Remove [3x]

    Front Wheelhouse Liner Retainer (1) - Remove [4x]

  12. Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (2) - Remove [7x]
  13. Front Wheelhouse Liner(3) - Remove

    Disconnect the electrical connectors.

  15. Release the windshield washer solvent container wiring harness retainers (1) and reposition the windshield washer solvent container wiring harness as necessary.
  16. Windshield Washer Pump Hose (2) - Disconnect and reposition

    NOTE:

    Support the windshield washer solvent container while removing the windshield washer solvent container bolts.

    Windshield Washer Solvent Container Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  18. Windshield Washer Solvent Container (2) - Remove

    Using two flat-bladed tools, place the blades under each side of the windshield washer pump (1).

  20. Twist the two flat-bladed tools in opposite directions to lift and disengage the windshield washer pump (1) from the windshield washer pump grommet (2).
  21. Carefully squeeze the windshield washer pump grommet (2) while using a flat-bladed tool to pry outward under the edge of the grommet to remove it from the windshield washer solvent container.
